About Elizabeth Randall

Acclaimed author Elizabeth Randall is a widely published freelance writer (featured in Salon, Education Week, Parabola, Tropic Magazine, The Orlando Sentinel, Florida Magazine) and the author of five non-fiction books. She is also a retired English teacher with a Master’s degree in English Education.

To get her story, Elizabeth interviews prisoners on death row, traipses through haunted houses and camps in humid tents. 

She has also presented guest lectures, podcasts and webinars at book conferences. She won first- and second-place writing awards from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association and the Royal Palm Literary Society.

Elizabeth often works with her husband, photographer Bob Randall, as a photojournalist team. Their books include:
